How Ashley Ferreira Design Uses Our Stock Photos

We talk a lot about all the ways you can use our stock photos because there are a lot! In addition to the usual suspects like on social media, your website, and in blog posts, there are tons of out-of-the-box ways to make our photos really work for you. And today, we wanted to highlight someone who has blown our minds with the creative things she is doing with our stock—Ashley Ferreira Design.

Ashley not only incorporated a curated selection of stock photos into her new website design, she uses them to mock up logo designs in her Etsy Shop and on social media, in free resources she has available on her website, and in brand style guides for clients! (Told you her creativity blows our minds!) So, read on to get inside this uber-creative lady’s head and learn about how our stock images helped her design a fresh look for her own website in the new year!

What inspired you to rebrand and build a new website?

2020 is a fresh new start for me and my business and I’ve had a goal for a while now to re-design my website at the beginning of this new year. I took a few weeks off to really dive deep into my business’ why, core values, etc. and wanted to build an updated website that represents my refreshed vision and the type of experience I strive to provide my clients moving forward.

What were your biggest goals with the re-design?

My biggest goal with the re-design was to clearly communicate to my clients what they can expect from working with me and the type of experience they’ll have. My goal is to provide solutions to my client’s pain points and struggles when it comes to branding and web design. I wanted it to be super clear how I’m able to help in ways they need most through my website and the visuals that helped build it.

What was the process like of dreaming up what your new website would look like?

The process was exciting! As I’m sure many designers can relate, designing for yourself isn’t always the easiest, but things like having access to amazing resources like Sourced Co. made the process so much easier.

Why did you use Sourced Co. images and graphics on your new website?

Being a creative professional who specializes in serving wedding industry clients, I know just how important my visuals are when it comes to representing my business. My imagery has to be top-notch, and as much as I would love to put together styled photo shoots on a regular basis for my brand, that’s not exactly realistic, and having a go-to resource like Sourced Co. where I know I can always count on quality, gorgeous images that speak to my clients is something I truly value!

How did you go about picking which ones you would use?

One of the things I love most about Sourced Co. is that there’s options for not only wedding professionals like photographers, wedding planners, florists, etc., but also for designers who serve those wedding industry pros. Most graphic design/computer/tech stock imagery out there isn’t the best fit for my brand and the types of clients I love working with, so I can’t begin to express the happiness I felt when I discovered Sourced Co. offers beautiful images that also cater to web and graphic designers who work with wedding industry pros as well.

What do you love most about your new website?

I love that it feels like a genuine reflection of me, my brand, and the experience I offer to the clients I love working with. Having high-quality imagery and visuals is so important when it comes to representing the type of elevated experience you can offer to clients and there was no shortage of options when it came to choosing my favorite Sourced Co. images!

What are you most excited about in the coming months?

I’m most excited to see where this new year takes me and my business. I’m so so excited to continue connecting with amazing clients and seeing how they light up when we come up with all the exciting possibilities and designs for their businesses. 2020 is going to be an amazing year full of amazing experiences!
