Sourced Co. Turns 4!

A while ago we realized that running a business in the midst of a pandemic had been our reality for half of our “existence.” We launched in May of 2018, and before we even had a chance to work the kinks out, we were forced into the ultimate business challenge. And it was just that—a major challenge to figure out ways to produce what we needed to while keeping everyone safe while we were at it.

It turned what was a routine of working together on a weekly basis into a fully remote one. It turned an attitude of, “Sure, you can totally come to the shoot,” into a only-people-who-must-be-there-should. It stretched us all personally and professionally—and damn are we excited to still be here.

Sourced Co. turns 4 on May 31 of this year and it feels like a really big moment—even though its a random business birthday. Because after riding the wildest ride in 2020, having our best month ever followed by our worst in 2021, and feeling like we know ourselves and our business better than ever in 2022, there is so much to celebrate (both big and small).

So as we blow out the candles on our 4th business birthday, we wanted to share a few of the moments we managed to capture during the past year. All of them are ones we have definitely learned to not take for granted and are part of our story as we keep on creating for you.

2021 was a Sourced Co. baby boom! Christy welcomed number 2 (a little girl we all call Junie) and Jen had to show her up with twins! Needless to say, there is always a tiny human in tow.

We got to shoot in some new places and with friends there to help again!

We also decided it was time for a brand refresh—stay tuned for a brand new website coming your way!

Happy 4th business birthday to us! Honestly, we wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you. You inspire us to keep on keepin’ on every time we sit down to plan a shoot, create a resource or fulfill an order. Cheers to you for that and cheers to us—good things are coming for us all!
